hybrid spatial installation, in cooperation with kathia von roth
pala redux is a collective hybrid spatial installation inspired by the book island (1962) by aldous huxley. three distinct spatial configurations can be experienced immersively: awareness l resonance l transformation
the spaces are conceived as collage-like VR environments that weave together objects, moving images, and atmospheric spatial sequences into immersive compositions. they originate from AI-manipulated imagery that was further transformed and translated into spatial experience. the environments also integrate scanned analog objects alongside digitally generated elements, establishing a multilayered dialogue between physical artifacts and virtual constructs.
visitors at the chaos communication congress 2025 in hamburg (39C3) were able to experience the different atmospheres through a VR headset, exploring and discussing them as speculative, sensorial-reflective spatial experiments.
